Guided trekking at 1800 – 2000 m. - Etna North
It takes about one hour to arrive on Etna North. First, you will stop to get to know better the guide and the itinerary; you will also take the needed equipment for the hike. We will then begin the trekking route, in the magical atmosphere and colours of the sunset, accompanied by our guide who will lead you through ancient woods and extinct craters, explaining the various volcanic phenomena that have occurred over time.
Once it will get dark, you will enjoy an Etna night walk under a sky full of stars with our torchlights: with a laser pointer, our guide will name and explain the different constellations, giving you lots of information about the night sky
On the full moon nights, the atmosphere will be even more fascinating as you will see the nature around you illuminated by the soft light of our satellite.
You will have the chance to see the nocturnal fauna that populates the volcano and, with a bit of luck, Etna in activity that fascinates and enchants with its lava show at night.
The trekking part will last 2/2,5 hours.
We will enjoy a glass of red wine and a packed light dinner while marvelling at the stars.
At the end of our tour Etna Night Tour – Stargazing Experience, at around 10.30/11.00 PM, the guide will drop you off at the starting point.
